Joe Jo’s Pizza and Gelato, Ephraim: Enjoy 18 flavors of homemade gelato after your world famous thin crust pizza.

Wilson’s, Ephraim: This classic ice cream parlor in the heart of Ephraim has been topping cones and mixing milkshakes since 1906. Grab a home-brewed draft root beer float as you catch the sunset over Eagle Harbor.

Renard’s, Sturgeon Bay: Stop in for the soft-serve ice cream and stay for the free wine and cheese tasting before taking a tour of the famous cheese shop to see how it’s all made.

Macready Artisan Bread Company, Egg Harbor: While known for their hand crafted artisan bread, Macready’s also has some premium ice cream to satisfying your sweetest tooth.

Not Licked Yet, Fish Creek: Butter Pecan is the favorite flavor of frozen custard at this Fish Creek venue. A playground next to the bubbling creek makes this place a family friendly locale.

Schopf’s Dairy View Country Store, Carlsville: Take a tour to learn about the dairy industry at this working farm and then enjoy more than 30 flavors of homemade ice cream.

PC Junction, Peninsula Center: With so many games and activities at this family-friendly train-themed restaurant to keep your kids busy, be sure they eat their ice cream before it melts!

Homemade Pie in Door County

Sweetie Pies, Fish Creek: Try more than 30 types of handmade pies at this tiny shop on the bluff outside Fish Creek.

Grandma Tommy’s Country Store, Sturgeon Bay: Pick up a homemade pie or get everything you need to make your own at this country store.

Scaturo’s Baking Co. & Cafe, Sturgeon Bay: Open at 5am most days, this family owned and operated restaurant and bakery gives a whole new meaning to the words “fresh baked”.

Bea’s Ho-Made Products, Gills Rock: At the top of the peninsula, you can enjoy pie made from scratch in small batches, the same way they’ve been doing it for decades. Then pick from more than 100 jams, jellies and speciality products to take home with you.

Seaquist Orchards Farm Market, Sister Bay: Grab a famous Door County cherry pie made with cherries grown right on the orchards outside the front door.

Candy and Everything Else

Door County Candy, Sturgeon Bay: Grab a tin of caramel, cheddar cheese or kettle corn and some fresh fudge at this old fashioned candy shop right on Sturgeon Bay’s historic 3rd Avenue.

Door County Confectionery: For 30 years, the Door County Confectionery has been serving up homemade fudge and chocolates in five locations throughout the peninsula. Not looking for chocolate? Bask in the bathtub of saltwater taffy or explore the walls loaded with every sweet treat you can imagine.

Chocolate Chicken, Egg Harbor: You can’t visit Egg Harbor without trying a block of homemade Door County Chocolate Cherry Fudge to go with a specialty coffee drink from these confectioners with 30 years of experience in the village.
