Where to Host a Reunion in Door County

7 Ideas for Reunions in Door County

Door County is one of the most popular reunion destinations in Wisconsin—and for good reason. Imagine a class reunion that begins with a kayak adventure at sunrise. A family reunion topped off with a legendary Door County fish boil. A group of your girlfriends golfing some of the prettiest courses in the Midwest. Or, the company of your comrades aboard a fishing charter, reliving the good ol’ days and spinning new tales. If you're headed to Door County for a reunion or large-group event, here are some ideas for keeping the gang engaged and entertained.

2. Door County Beer, Wine, and Cider Tour

OK, you may not need to hit all three, but you could make a weekend out of each if you want to! Taste the best of local beverages with a group tour (trolley anyone?) with stops at seven wineries, three breweries, one distillery, and a cider mill. Just make sure you hydrate!

3. Get on the Water

Nothing will make a Door County gathering more memorable and complete than a few hours on the water. Rent a boat, book a sunset sail or boat tour, or plan a group kayak tour to see Door County from atop our most famous features—the waves of Lake Michigan.

4. Hit the Links

If golf is your passion, then Door County is your destination. Eleven courses dot the peninsula and Washington Island, giving you options for a morning tea-time or a golf-filled weekend on courses, which offers some of the most stunning views in the Midwest.
