Door County 2017-2018 Winter Guide Available
As the temperature starts to fall Door County is ready to welcome the winter season with the release of the 2017-2018 Official Winter Guide.
The guide is a supplement to the Door County Visitor Bureau’s (DCVB) Official Visitor Guide. The guide is a great tool for visitors during the winter season providing maps, winter activities, winter hours for area businesses, and events from November through March.
The guide is available in hard-copy at the Door County Welcome Center and other area visitor centers, as well as a variety of businesses around the county. It is also available online as a virtual magazine and at other distribution points across the state of Wisconsin. Visitors can also order a free copy of the guide by calling 800-527-3529 or visiting DoorCounty.com.
“We could not be more excited for the arrival of our winter guide to highlight the winter season to our fall visitors,” said Pat Nash, Visitor Information Manager at the DCVB. “Door County is a wonderful getaway opportunity in the winter months and this guide is a great source for planning a vacation,” he said.
45,000 copies of the winter guide were printed this year. An online virtual version is available to read on DoorCounty.com and is formatted for computers, smart phones, and tablets.
The Door County Visitor Bureau is the official tourism marketing organization for Door County, whose mission is to generate incremental economic impact for the community by attracting visitors with strategies that ensure sustainable tourism.
