Destination Door County Hospitality Heroes Thank You Campaign Concludes

December 14, 2023 - Door County, WI. Destination Door County (DDC) recently concluded their third annual hospitality worker thank you campaign. The campaign was created to show gratitude towards area hospitality workers for their hard work throughout the year.

The community was asked to submit nominations of well deserving individuals in the hospitality industry, and 138 nominations were received. To celebrate every nomination, they have all been posted at DoorCounty.com/hero for the public to read about some of Door County’s best in hospitality.

“We are thrilled with the number of nominations submitted,” said Julie Gilbert, President & CEO of Destination Door County. “This was the highest number of nominees we have received in the three years we have done this campaign.” “It’s so great to read all the outpouring of support people gave to their favorite hospitality hero,” said Gilbert.

Elizabeth Wuesthoff from Twelve Eleven Wine Bar was randomly selected among all nominees as the winner of this year’s prize package.

Destination Door County would like to thank all hospitality workers for their work and efforts throughout the year and for a job well done.
